A new list called NFB-Conventions is a place where you can make convention-related announcements, find a roommate etc. Please read the description before you submit any message to know what is allowed, and what isn't. This is an announce-only list, so messages will be checked before they are allowed on the list. It is also not a list for discussion, just announcements. This list is sponsored by the National Federation of the Blind, NFB. The name of this list is NFB-Conventions. The purpose of the list is to support our members, Chapters, Divisions, and Affiliates in all convention-related activities. The list is here to facilitate the exchange of announcements related to both NFB National Convention and conventions of NFB state affiliates held throughout the year. Are you looking for a roommate, or do you have space in a hotel room, then this is the place to let others know. Announcements concerning streaming, the agenda, related meetings, transportation arrangements, and other convention-related matters are all appropriate for this list. Only NFB related fund-raising messages will be allowed on this list on a limited basis (e.g. an affiliate or national division may post one announcement regarding its offerings at the exhibit table at the national convention).
