Muncie area advocates, WE NEED YOU! The Employment First Town Hall meeting is targeted for
people with disabilities, with the goals of building a cross-disability Employment First Coalition and improving employment outcomes for all. All other employment advocates are welcome.
The Employment First Cross-Disability Coalition is an initiative funded by the Governor’s Council for People with disabilities to increase integrated competitive employment for Hoosiers with disabilities. We are holding Town Hall meetings across Indiana to hear from people with disabilities and other stakeholders. Our goals are to:
- Build a cross-disability, cross-agency coalition to promote competitive integrated employment;
- Identify solutions and develop local initiatives to address employment barriers;
- Develop a social media campaign called WORK TO INCLUDE to connect advocates;
- Document success stories, share information and advocate for positive change.
